Now that I have a tablet I've been really looking forward to pushing the limits of my drawing/coloring especially with realism.

This is my first try at drawing a real person which is why I have a photo reference from Dark Angel. This photo was relatively hard to work from because of the blurry and shady quality (I had to vivid light the photo) but after I gave my sister a selection of celebrities photos to choose from she said she wanted me to try this one so here it is.

This picture was completed after an 11 hour marathon (with sleep in between) which is relatively quick for me recently and overall I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

You can probably tell I'm a great fan of depicting facial details and this is also the part which took me the longest to do. The skin took the longest time to do, the eyes the shortest. I absolutely adore Jensen's smoky/shadowy eyes in Supernatural so I sort of brought that over.

I know I should finish my other works before starting new stuff but I get bored so easily ...but the WIP will be completed...before Xmas...mwahaha.

Done in Adobe Photoshop CS with a WACOM tablet.
